If you know me at all you will know that I'm a lover of fashion. So I was over the moon to hear that COS was finally coming to the Bahrain City Centre.
I walked into the shop and was most impressed by the layout of the store and the beautiful collection. It was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I'm not sure about you. But when I'm shopping I like it to be an experience, a pleasure. So it's important the environment you find yourself in. Not to have clothes all on top of one another where you can't find anything. That just puts me off. Well you will not find that at COS. Shoppers paradise.
It speaks for itself. The little differences and attention to detail you will notice. Hand stitching, or tapered seams that adds detail to their clothes. You will find cottons, cashmeres and soft silks that you can wear over and over again. Gosh I am getting excited!
When I'm shopping I like it to be just as much an experience and not a chore. So it's important the environment you find yourself in. To me the atmosphere of the store is like a gallery. Where the clothes speak for themselves. They are all styled beautifully and the layout immaculate. The friendly staff keen to help.
The lighting and the layout of the shop is just so pleasing to the mind and soul. If you or any of your shopping companions need a time out, there is a lovely little sofa. Personally, if I am ever shopping with my Mother, she nearly always ends up sitting down to take the weight off her feet. Got to look after your Mammy x.
You'll see the attention to detail such as the big mirrows in the changing room. It's so important to be able to look at yourself from every angle, before you make that important purchase. You have got to be able to get a good look at yourself 360.
When I think of COS I think timeless and classic.Their clothes go beyond seasons. You will allways find your wardrobe staple that you can wear forever. That crisp white cotton shirt, that little black dress or a fitted blazer something we should all have in the closet.
So to sum it up. Less is more. Keeping things simple and drawing on their Scandinavian heritage. It's a instant hit with me.
I'll sign off for now good night.
